Capability

In-house tool-room capability

To deliver the most efficient route to your table mould, our two tool rooms are fitted with both 3- and 5-axis CNC equipment.

We offer rapid models and production-ready tools, backed by continuous investment in the latest equipment. The tool rooms combine milling, machining, EDM, polishing and fitting, so we can produce your injection tool through efficient rapid-tooling procedures across the varied industries and volumes we serve.

Materials

Steel selection for table moulds

Alloy grades

Only the best injection-mould grades, matched to your polymer and volume.

P20

Pre-toughened tool steel giving excellent long table-mould life with all regular polymers.

H13

Fully hardened steel that can enhance production quantities on high-volume tables.

Engineering

Designing the feed system

To design a table-mould feed system effectively, the engineer must understand the flow nature of polymer melts and how flow-channel geometry affects pressure transmission and fill efficiency. A large flat table top needs a balanced runner and gate layout so it fills evenly, keeps the surface flat, and avoids warpage and short shots.

FAQ

Table mould FAQ

What steel do you use for a plastic table mould?

Alloy tool steels in the best injection grades: P20 pre-toughened steel for good long life with regular polymers, and H13 fully hardened steel to raise production quantities on high-volume tables. Steel is matched to your run length.

What machining capability do you have for table moulds?

Two tool rooms with both 3- and 5-axis CNC, plus milling, machining, EDM, polishing and fitting — so we can produce table tooling through efficient rapid-tooling processes, from rapid models to production-ready tools.

How is a table mould feed system designed?

By understanding how polymer melt flows and how the flow-channel geometry affects pressure transmission and fill efficiency. A large flat table needs a balanced feed and gate layout so it fills evenly without warpage or short shots.

How much can I save sourcing a table mould from China?

Buyers commonly save around 20% versus Western tooling for a comparable table mould, driven by lower skilled-labour cost and a dense local supply chain — without giving up steel quality or build standard.

What kinds of plastic tables can you tool?

Folding tables, picnic and camping tables, children’s tables and industrial worktables in PP or HDPE, single-cavity on a mid-to-large press, with warpage control on the top surface as the priority.
