What neck sizes do your flip top caps come in?
Standard flip top and screw caps are available in common neck finishes including 20/410, 20/415, 24/410, 24/415 and 28/410, with many closures held in stock. Custom sizes are tooled to your bottle.
What is a flip top cap used for?
A flip top (or disc-top / snap-top) cap is a one-hand-operable closure for lotions, shampoos, sauces, syrups and personal-care liquids. It seals leak-proof when closed and flips open without fully removing the cap.
Are flip top caps leak-proof?
Yes. A well-tooled flip top seals leak-proof against the bottle neck, using the same sealing materials as CRC (child-resistant) caps. Seal quality depends on cap and neck tolerances, which is where mould precision matters.
What plastics are flip top caps made from?
Usually polypropylene (PP) for the living hinge, sometimes PE. Foamed polyethylene and plastisol liners are used for sealing. PP is chosen because it tolerates the repeated flexing of the hinge without cracking.
